The Sonoma Mission San Francisco Solano is the Last Mission on California's El Camino Real, The King's Highway, which served all the Native Tribes of North America from Panama to Alaska, and connected Sonoma to her Native Sister City in Cuzco, Peru, in South America.

Known as "The Mission that Broke the Founder's Heart",  this particular Mission was burned down to the ground by the hostile warriors of the Indian Chiefs and Shamans a total of seven times!

The Mission was  very deliberately placed on this spot by the Catholic Church because, according to the Indian Origin Myth, this was where The Sky Canoe landed, and where The Star People planted The First People to take care of the Earth. By putting the Mission here, on the sacred spot where the Bear Sacrifice took place for over 10,000 years, the Catholic Priests hoped to prove to the Indians that

the Catholic Christ-God was greater than the Indian Bear-God.
